Did you ever wonder if or how the Saints and the Blessed Virgin could possibly hear the prayers of each one of us and then sort them out? They do not have the gifts of omnipresence (being all places at the same time), nor, omniscience (having all knowledge, including understanding every language). Yet there are innumerable reliable witness's accounts of answers and happenings as a direct result of prayer to the Saints in heaven. Since 'nothing is hard or impossible to God', we have faith that somehow they hear. The fact that cyberspace and the principles of e-mail existed in God's mind forever may provide a clue how the Saints handle their many communications from earth. Suppose God had set up a sort of cyberspace system, whereby a prayer was like an e-mail. It would go out into the heavenly air and just sort of hang out there until the Saint got around to receiving it. At that point, they could hit a 'forward reply' button and send it on to God with their own personal endorsement or plea!
"But", you might say, "if the Blessed Virgin or some of the more popular Saints have a
tremendous backlog of Well, since 'nothing is hard, etc.', and God is not confined by time, the future is 'present and now time' to Him. He simply hears our original prayer when we pray it and then He 'pre-reads' the e-prayer response that the Saint sends some time in the future. Now He can answer our prayers in the way that serves our true best interests! And He probably adds, "And don't forget, the greatest answer to prayer was when I sent my Son as an everlasting Christmas gift when He died on the cross for your salvation." Thank You, Lord.
