Why Did God Make Me?

Assume that something within you convinces you that God is real and alive.

Assume that you can arrive at no other conclusion than that God is responsible for the creation of the world and the universe and nature and the operations of the laws thereof.

Assume that you would then agree that by the operation of nature, or particular laws therein, you were born.

Would it not be logical to conclude that God, in effect, created you? Even if it were not an intended pregnancy, there was a law of nature at work.

Assume again, that God is omniscient (knows everything, past, present and future) and that He is a God of perfect order (cannot make a mistake).

Would it not then also be logical to conclude that God had a purpose for your creation and consequently a perfect plan as to how you would serve His purpose?

Of course, now you might see a correlation between God’s creating you and a robot maker making a robot. The robot is fashioned the way the maker intended and will do whatever the maker has programmed it to do. At some point, it becomes useless or outdated and is simply discarded.

Let’s make another assumption: God is perfect wisdom, perfect knowledge, perfect understanding.

Then why would God make us?

The simplest answer is,

He Wanted To!
