God fashions us and allows us to be born. Whatever the circumstances of our birth: the who, what, where, when and why, He permits the birth. Because He is the primary creational force, He has the right and authority to determine the plan and purpose of His creation. This 'plan' also applies to the parents and their part and responsibility to and with the child that they have co-created with God. In essence, God creates and then directs. God has ordained that each of His creation has the free will, that is, the option to choose how and if, he or she will follow His directions. The choices may be contradictory to His will and direction (sin). In essence, God accepts the choices. Because God's plan and direction are perfect for each person, personal wrong choices will result in consequences that are detrimental and harmful, whether it be now, in the future, or in eternity. God, in His love, wisdom and mercy, takes into account our weakness and disobedience. When we fall apart choosing our own paths, He is there. In essence, God picks up the pieces. Since God sees through all time, He knows that we will act contrary to His direction many times. There will be many pieces to pick up. He also knows that some day, when we are so broken, we will seek reconciliation with Him. In essence, He is saving all the pieces. Now, God's direction will be sought after again and He is there. When He puts the pieces back together again, they may not be the same as before, but He has promised that, "All things work for good for those who love Him, and are called to His purposes." In essence, God has made us His new creation.
